SENSOR INSTALLATIONS

In industry some machinery that needs vital condition monitoring can be inaccessible for various reasons, including un-safe access while plant is in operation or safety guards preventing access.  In these situations permanent monitoring sensors can be installed and wired back to a remote switchbox, allowing vibration readings to be taken from a safe distance.

General purpose industrial accellerometers (sensors) have a robust stainless steel construction and are sealed to RP55 rating, with 1/4 turn, quick release couplings to allow easy removal for maintenance procedures.

Example:  A standard Air Handling Fan Unit (AHU) with a motor and 2 fan bearings would require 4 sensors and 1 switchbox installed.
